On the road again. Along the highway we saw a wind farm, with dozens and dozens of those enormous turbines. We also passed a couple of the turbine blades that were being moved by truck – a single blade is longer than an 18 wheeler. They’re huge.

We found our resting place for the night, a Motel 6 in Oklahoma City just off of the highway. The rate was very reasonable, the room was clean, and dog was allowed, so we were happy. Note to anybody driving through Oklahoma any time soon; bring some change with you. We’ve paid around $8.50 by now and we’re still not completely through the state yet.

We pulled off the highway in Tulsa to take a short break, parking in front of a Camille’s. Dog opted not to poop. I called a Motel 6 in Oklahoma City and booked a room. If you’re ever travelling with a pet, Motel 6 is the way to go. Dogs are welcome, and they don’t charge any additional fee or deposit.
