We pulled into the McDonald’s in Vinita, OK that sits over the highway. It has a Will Rogers theme to it, who apparently was some sort of cowboy philosopher. We went into the McDonal’s so I could use the bathroom, but we didn’t purchase any food.

I ate some of my mom’s gooey butter cake. Not all, since I wanted to savor this treat that I won’t have again for a long time. Lisa ate beef jerky.
