The lights and occasional siren from a police car woke us up this morning at about 5:30am. It parked in the middle of the intersection outside of our home as up to 6 other police vehicles patrolled up and down our cross-streets.

According to the EPD Dispatch Log, it was a stolen vehicle situation. The suspects abandoned the vehicle just down the street from our house and took off on foot, hence the mini-manhunt. I took a picture of the patrol car, double-checked that our windows and doors were locked, and went back to sleep.
